Motorists Insurance Group selected 2008 Company of the Year by PIA National

The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents has recognized our ability to deliver on that promise and has awarded us their prestigious PIA National Company Award of Excellence. This is the second time in seven years Motorists has been selected – an unprecedented feat for any insurer.
The annual award was presented to Motorists on Sept. 20 during a ceremony in Austin, Texas, held in conjunction with a national PIA board of directors meeting.
"We are both humbled and honored by this recognition from the PIA, which we believe is a testament to the dedication we have to the independent agents who represent us," Motorists Mutual Chairman, President and CEO John J. Bishop, CPCU, CLU said.

The annual PIA National Company Award of Excellence honors companies for their commitment to PIA, to the American Agency System, and to furthering the interests of professional insurance agents by creating a better business environment.
