 | Operation Feed—With the number of people requesting food continuing to rise every year, Motorists has made the fight against hunger a priority. Motorists Insurance and our employees are part of Operation Feed. This community-wide effort provides food to needy citizens in Franklin County. This is an effort that the entire company supports through special events and food drives. Every year the company sets challenging goals and every year we exceed the number of food items that we give to Franklin County's Operation Feed Campaign. We've found that there's nothing more rewarding than helping others. |
 | Future Possibilities—The Motorists Insurance Group is a proud supporter of Future Possibilities, Inc. This nonprofit organization delivers lifeskills-coaching programs that empower children in the community. Company associates, who choose to become a coach, meet with children through one-on-one meetings at the school and through telephone coaching sessions. Serving as a positive role model, each coach guides the child to define, plan, and achieve a goal. Motorists shares in the organization’s mission: "To provide programs to children and youth, ages 8 to 14, from underserved communities that will challenge and inspire them to reach higher, achieve more and learn how to create their own possibilities, both now and in the future." |
 | Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure—It seems as if breast cancer has touched everyone at some point. That's why it's so important to step up and lend support to help find a cure. The Komen Race for the Cure Series raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. The Motorists Insurance Group actively participates in the yearly Komen Columbus Race for the Cure as a sponsor. In addition, Motorists sponsors a team of volunteer associates for this race that brings together approximately 50,000 supporters to central Ohio. |
 | Columbus Dispatch Scholar Athlete Awards—The Motorists Insurance Group is proud to be the presenting sponsor of The Columbus Dispatch Scholar Athlete Awards, a scholarship program that recognizes the accomplishments of some of central Ohio's top student athletes. The awards recognize one male and one female scholar athlete each at more than 100 high schools in central Ohio, and honor 17 students with college scholarships. Motorists donates $35,000 in scholarship money for 10 of the 17 scholarships.

 ©Randall Lee Schieber | Topiary Garden- The Motorists Insurance building in downtown Columbus overlooks a park that holds one of the most unique and captivating works of art anywhere. It is a topiary garden mostly made out of trimmed and shaped yew trees that recreate in three-dimensional green one of the most famous paintings of the impressionist period — Georges Seurat's A Sunday on the Island of La Grande Jatte. It is the only topiary garden anywhere that is based on a work of art, and it’s literally in our own backyard. We’re proud of our financial commitment and ongoing support of the park and its living artwork that serves as a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the city. |
Cameron E. Williams Memorial Scholarship
Every year The Motorists Insurance Group awards a $2,000 scholarship in honor of former Chairman, President and CEO of Motorists Mutual Insurance Company, Cameron E. Williams. The scholarship is awarded to a worthy student looking toward a career in insurance or a related industry. The Cameron E. Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund was established on January 1, 2005, with funds contributed by the family of Mr. Williams and The Motorists Insurance Group. In addition to being our past chairman, Mr. Williams was a past President of the Columbus C.P.C.U. Society, The Griffith Foundation for Insurance Education, the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and the Ohio Insurance Institute.
The recipient must be a U.S. citizen and a full-time student attending a college or university anywhere in the United States. In addition, the recipient must be at least a sophomore and enrolled in an insurance, risk management, actuarial science or insurance-related program and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above. Individual circumstances and extracurricular activities will be considered. Preference will be given to children, stepchildren, or legally adopted children of associates and agents of The Motorists Insurance Group. Individuals recommended by a Motorists associate or retiree will also be considered.
