Industry Awards

The companies of The Motorists Insurance Group are built on a foundation of doing what's best for agents and policyholders.

That commitment to the needs of agents, in particular, has been recognized on several occasions during the last few years. Below are some examples of accolades from independent insurance agent organizations.

We're proud of these awards, and we're appreciative that independent agents have taken the time throughout the years to recognize the efforts of The Motorists Insurance Group and its associates.

IIAI Company of the Year	Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana (IIAI) selected The Motorists Insurance Group as the 2010 Company of the Year, in recognition of our strong commitment to the independent insurance agency system and insurance consumers in Indiana.
PIA Award of Excellence	Award of Excellence (company of the year), was awarded in 2008 by the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA). Motorists also received this award in 2002. Please see "Two awards, two stories" for more information.
Ohio Big "I" Carrier of the Year	Motorists received the 2009 Eagle Award from the Independent Agents of Ohio, Inc., in recognition of our support of the Trusted Choice® initiative, IIAO Annual Meeting, Big ‘I’ Young Agents activities and Big ‘I’ educational programming.
