The Motorists Insurance Group announces Marketing Division, Commercial Lines Division leadership changes

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Sept. 23, 2010) – Shaun Gregoire, CPCU, has been named vice president, P&C Marketing Division for Motorists Mutual Insurance Company, Columbus, Ohio. He has been assistant vice president, West Zone, Marketing Division, for the past five years, which has given him considerable experience working with independent agents and with field underwriting.

Prior to his position as assistant vice president, Gregoire held the position of assistant vice president, Training and Development. In that capacity, he managed the creation of educational personal and commercial lines programs used by independent agents and associates. The Miami (Ohio) graduate also has claims experience, working for Motorists and a major property and casualty carrier as an adjuster.

Replacing Gregoire as assistant vice president, West Zone, is Austin Slattery. He previously was assistant vice president, Commercial Lines Division, and was a business development manager in the Marketing Division. He brings more than 20 years of insurance experience as a former independent agent and in a variety of positions with other insurance carriers.

Steve Entenmann, CIC, has been promoted to replace Slattery as assistant vice president, Commercial Lines Division. Entenmann, formerly a business development manager in the Marketing Division, has extensive commercial lines underwriting and agency management experience. Prior to joining Motorists Mutual, Entenmann worked for other super regional property and casualty carriers in field and commercial underwriting positions.

Grady Campbell, senior vice president, Marketing Services and Personal Lines, said, "Shaun, Austin and Steve bring to their new positions extensive expertise that will serve independent agents and the company well in the future."

He added, "All have a long and productive track record working with independent agents. They will continue Motorists' long-standing tradition of keeping our core values at the forefront of decision-making and making every effort to enhance the company's strong support of the independent agency system."
